Twenty-four: Letting go

All too often our little frame of reference, clouded by cultural conditioning and a pinpoint view of the universe, seems entirely founded on fact.  We build lives based on this infinitesimal view of the universe and fill our days doing, avoiding and fear mongering with complete disregard for the life to which we belong.  From this decidedly human vantage, it's easy to take the whole damn thing so seriously.  But when night falls, the sky is scattered with stars and I wonder, "Would all of this mean anything if I were standing on the moon?" The answer is generally no.  There'd be other things do attend to.
So I let it go.
