Two: Shadows
The poetry of light and form, with its nuanced shadowy dance, stopped my hurried, headlong dash from one commitment to another today. I’d left work a few minutes early en route to my next appointment when I happened to glance down at the sidewalk.
I stopped, too transfixed by nature’s artistry to notice the ticking of time as it whizzed passed.
I arrived at the doctors office a little late and smiling.
Natural interventions always leave me a feeling a bit giddy with gratitude at the beauty lurking in ordinary moments.
